Last week, Adobe released the new 2021 versions of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Media Encoder, and the rest of their audio and video applications. In this session, host Larry Jordan takes a closer look at some of the key features in this release.

What better way to end the year than with a session that covers just about anything? Well, at least the things you are interested in! Host Larry Jordan organized this session into seven categories covering different aspects of Apple Final Cut Pro, Motion and Compressor.

Multicam shooting records an event using multiple cameras. Multicam editing allows us to see all those images at the same time as we edit the show. This allows us to quickly compare shots and pick the best one for our story. As cameras get less expensive and editing software gets more powerful, multicam shooting is becoming the norm, not the exception.

Closed captions are intimidating! But, closed captions are also vital to understanding a movie for anyone who has trouble hearing or speaks a different language. In this detailed, step-by-step webinar, you'll learn what captions are; how to add, modify, and format captions in Adobe Premiere Pro CC; and then how to export your movie so it contains captions.

Green-screen effects, also called “chroma-key effects,” allow us to easily insert a foreground actor into a different background. But, exactly, HOW do you do this? This session starts by recording green-screen shots in the studio, then creating the finished effects in Apple Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere Pro CC.

Blend modes, which Final Cut Pro 7 called “composite modes,” combine images based upon their gray-scale or color values. Which sounds weird until you start to play with it. Think of blend modes as "sharing textures between images." What makes blend modes so exciting is that they are easy to apply, yet open up a world of creative possibilities. In this one-hour online training, join host, Larry Jordan, as he shows you how blend modes can take your effects to an entirely different level. You can use them to add texture to text, enhance images, or make images look totally surreal.
