A neat feature when creating titles in Premiere Pro CC allows us to create text on a curve. While this effect is best used in moderation, it can be very effective when you REALLY want to draw attention to your titles.

In this short video tutorial, Larry Jordan shows how to create text on a curve, modify the curve, change the size and shape of the curve and change the position and look of the text.

This is something that can be created much quicker & more easily in Photoshop. I was hoping this was going to be a tutorial on animating a title, where a flat title gradually becomes curved. That being said, this is still very helpful for people who want to make their titles with Premiere. And you’re really great with the voiceover work! 🙂

      KT:

That type of animation requires After Effects. The titles Premiere creates are only stills – though you can use keyframes to change position, rotation or size.
