Motion 5: Create an FCP X Template [Video]

Posted on by Larry

[This is an excerpt from a recent PowerUP webinar: Create Killer Titles in Final Cut Pro X which you can download from our store. You can also access all our webinars by becoming a subscriber.]

This video tutorial illustrates how to create a simple info-graphic title in Motion 5 that can then be used as a template inside Final Cut Pro X.

The key point of this tutorial is to show how files created inside Motion 5 can be saved as FCP X templates. Along the way, you’ll learn how to work with drop zones, simple text formatting, and behaviors to animate the movement of text and objects.

If you want to learn how Motion, itself, works, please watch this tutorial: Create Cool Effects in Motion 5.
