[This is an excerpt from a recent on-line video webinar: “Light Leaks, Fire and Blend Modes” which you can download from our store. You can also access all our training when you become a member of our Video Training Library.]
You start with a good image – then you make it look even better with visual effects like fires, light leaks, or degraded film looks. And all of these require blend modes to look right.
In this online webinar, host Larry Jordan uses both Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Apple Final Cut Pro X to explain what blend modes are and how to use them to enhance text and images. Then, he showcases light leaks, transitions, fires and degraded film looks using products from LightLeakLove and Rampant Design Tools.
In this short video excerpt, Larry illustrates new fire, “light leak,” and film burn effects from Rampant Design Tools. These flames, flashes, and color swirls can really enhance your images. (NOTE: This demo uses Final Cut, but these effects work exactly the same in Adobe Premiere Pro CC.)
