Big fan of your work.
I’m looking to build some graphics where I pull a quote from a website and enlarge it on the screen. In other words, I’m showing on screen a web site, and I want to enlarge a specific quote from it (like they do so often on cable news shows like Meet the Press).
Is there a good way to do that in Final Cut Pro, or Motion?
Larry replies: Yup.
Duplicate the shot on two layers, and scale the top layer to the size you need in the Motion tab.
Crop it to the size you need and add a drop shadow.
