FINAL CUT PRO X – OVERVIEW, INTERFACE, AND IMPORTING MEDIA
Final Cut Pro X is a radically different take on non-linear editing. With an interface that borrows more from iMovie than Final Cut Pro 7, Apple has presented video editors with a new way of thinking about editing.
This session is the first of four parts introducing FCP X. This first session provides an overview of the application, an introduction to the interface, shows how to import media, and how to apply keywords so you can find just the clips you are looking for.
One of the strengths of Larry’s presentations is that he not only explains the how and the what, he also explains the why. If you are in a hurry, start with this tutorial and save yourself a ton of time learning on your own.
Audience Level
Any video editor looking to understand the new software and get started using it quickly and productively.
