DESCRIPTION

A few weeks ago, we presented a video looking at the craft of editing, rather than the technology: Editing as Storytelling. The response was instant and over-whelming – everyone LOVED it. So, this week, we are extending our look at the craft of editing. Regardless of what editing software you are using, everything in this video training still applies. Because this session isn’t about technology – its about the art.

Watch over Larry’s shoulder as he edits a series of dramatic and interview scenes to illustrate his points. If you are a new editor, this is a good way to learn basic editing techniques. And if you are an experienced editor, you can use this to brush up your own skills.

Every editor has their own style and any scene can be cut multiple ways. But, if you are interested in watching how a professional editor edits, learning more about the craft of editing, or improving your own skills, this webinar is not to be missed!

AUDIENCE LEVEL

This beginning-level training doesn’t require any editing software knowledge at all. This session illustrates editing techniques to tell stories, which is relevant to any software running on any platform.
