DESCRIPTION

All effects in Final Cut Pro X are first created in Motion 5, then saved so that Final Cut can use them. This is great news for anyone wanting to create custom Final Cut effects. Except… how? Even worse, what if you can’t draw a straight line without mechanical assistance?

Not to worry! This webinar shows you exactly what you need to know to create effects in Motion 5 that can be adjusted in Final Cut Pro X. Whether it is as simple as changing the color of an existing effect, or adding a slider that adjusts opacity, or creating more complex text effects, this on-line video training can help even the most graphically-challenged editor customize effects in Motion that will simplify their editing in Final Cut.

NOTE: The techniques illustrated in this webinar apply to both Motion 5 and 5.1.

Join host, Larry Jordan, as he shows you how to modify existing Final Cut Pro X effects in Motion, publish simple parameters so you can adjust effects in Final Cut, then use the powerful rigging and widgets feature in Motion 5 to create highly-complex, yet immensely useful, Final Cut effects controls using Motion 5.

AUDIENCE LEVEL

This intermediate-level webinar is suitable for editors who are somewhat familiar with Final Cut Pro X and Motion 5.
