DESCRIPTION

In past webinars, we talked about how to read the video scopes and use the color correction tools. This is a great way to learn how the color correction technology in Final Cut Pro X works. But it doesn’t provide a lot of help when you are trying to create a “look” for a scene, or trying to get a bunch of different clips to match.

In this session, hosted by Larry Jordan, we go beyond simple color correction as he takes three different scenes and shows how to to use color to enhance the emotion of each scene. Larry illustrates how to use toe scopes to spot, then resolve them using the color tools in FCP X. Along the way, he gives you tips you can use to improve the image quality of your next project.

If you are new to color correction in Final Cut Pro X, we suggest watching Webinar 71: Manual Color Correction in Final Cut Pro X first, to get a basic understanding of how to analyze clips using the video scopes, along with a basic understanding of how the color correction tools work.
