Chapter markers are navigational elements which can be embedded in a video and displayed on a DVD or the web which allow quick navigation to different sections of a movie. These are extremely helpful critters.
However, one of the limitations of Final Cut Pro X is that it does not support creating chapter markers. Instead, we need to export our project from Final Cut, then add chapter markers in another program.
A really good tool for this is Compressor (either version 3 or 4).
